I have been seeing a few builders welding a piece of flat bar between the false floor and the side the length of false floor. What is the purpose of this? I'm planning out a new build and have been wondering about that. |

That's what I was thinking, thanks. So is the floor welded to the side at all or only to flatbar? |

i do flat bar welded to the sides unless asked for different. main reason i do it is because it looks cleaner than just bottom to the sides and they act as ramps if you need to wash anything over the center cross brace. |
