Can I get ya'll thoughts. My momarsh, looks like just the outer layer rubbed off. Ity does not look like any of the fiberglass was rubbed away, just the first layer, what is that first layer? How should I repair that? I had a 2x4 I would put underneith it on the trailer, it rubbed that first layer off, should of had carpet aroud the 2x4....Last pic I show how the 2x4 was under the boat, how it rubbed it... |

get you some epoxy or polyester resin...rough it up with some 24-36 grit paper, mix up some resin and apply with an ol cheap paint brush....check out youtube for fiberglass repair..literally thousands of vids on it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Thx, I just watch a few youtubes, it does not need any fiberglass, just the "epoxy or polyester resin", where do I buy that stuff? |

oreilly, autozone or bumper to bumper will have it...bumper to bumper will most likely have a better quality product. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

All your missing is the gel coat. Heck just put some sea repair on it and color it in with a olive green sharpie! lol |

If your wanting to cover the resin repair with gelcoat instead of paint, go to west marine for gelcoat repair kits...you can get a small area repair kit for cheap...ive used them on some of my older bay boats...personally I dont think you need to though. Little resin to dress it off and rattle can paint and you should be fine. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
