 war-eagle hey guys, i have a 00 1648 war-eagle with a 40hp and am thinking about getting a mud motor. my question is does anyone know how it will do with a 35 gtr or a 36 pd? thanks in advance

Re: war-eagle It will float but its going to be heavy on the back end and take on water every time you slow down.
If you are dead set on getting a mm for that boat go ahead and the in a couple months get ready to get the billfold out and get a real boat.
They just don't perform on this rigs like they do on a true mud hull.

Re: war-eagle well mine runs 27-28 empty, with 3 people I would say 23-24ish with a 3 person hunt load. your top speed will be more than mine and and loaded will be close but may be a little slower due to the extra length and width of mine

Re: war-eagle My cousin has the same boat with a 35 Mudbuddy, and it runs great. It's a quick little boat. He's had it for about 5 years now and still going strong!
