This weekend I was able to take my new rig out. I am very pleased. I am still setting up some of the details but the rig runs great. 2 weeks ago Pete tested out the rig. He ways 200 lbs and he had a 6 gallon tank half full. It ran 21-22 MPH and hopped on plane very quickly. He was impressed with the performance and ease of operation of the motor 1854 Sport Deck 12 gal. gas tank under front deck .125 entire rig. We bust ice sometimes 35 Back Water SWOMP SS - short shaft 59" Port side 10" catwalk. Does not go to floor. I wanted to be able to store under this side. Built to support a Davit system Starboard 12" Catwalk with glove box - Cell phone, wallet, flashlight... Switch panel easy to access from grab bar while driving or while outside the boat. Built will a ice protector lid Custom built Lightbar that accommodates 4 Grote LED work lamps Light bar with Periscope extension spot lamp Recessed clete for dog tie down Ladder with step- this is dual function. Primarily for my dogs to crawl back in. They sit 50-150 yards behind me while I hunt in my layout boat. Secondarily for me. Numerous interior tie downs for decoys, tarps I had stakes built for putting together temporary blinds and storage for blind stakes A David system that both pivots and swings with a winch to car kit into the boat. Loading a duck boat into a floating boat is a cluster as the tender boat keeps floating away as the small boat is pushed on it. Also this system allows more floor space. |

Very nice rig! I'd love to be upgrading to a WC hull for this duck season but poverty is a bitch! ![]() |

Brickgw I was and am very impressed with the costs. I honestly don't think it cost me any more than a cookie cutter type. When I first called I was testing the water and was very surprised at not only the initial boat cost but also how reasonable the upgrades are. Very reasonable. Probably too reasonable but Pete is a great guy wanting to make a living and put people I their own designed boats. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
