| Post subject: | best way to raise a transom? |
I was wondering if any has raising the transom in there boat around 4 inches? I need to do this for my motor and i was wondering what is the best way? I was thinking about just getting a 4" tubing and welding it on top of my existing transom? Is this how people normally do it? Thanks fellas |

That's how I raised mine and welded a plate on both sides to tie it into the existing transom for more strength. |
