Gator base down! not easy on a ribbed boat
Applied the gator base this weekend. IF I had a flat bottom it would have been easy! but it was a giant PITA to paint a ribbed boat. Hrdest part was getting it down to bare metal. Previous owner had one hell of a paint job.

I had the same problem with the ice breaker ram on the front of my boat - just got to keep going with thin coats and it works. LOOKS AWESOME KGK - it is some slippery chit for sure time for a reset on your shop too -

Looks like you did it right, good work! You won't be disappointed. Were you rolling up and over the ribs? That is the best way.

careful spaying it, you can get it on to heavy and it wont cure right. You could spay and back roll using the same hotdog roller and it works well.
