 GPS Mounting suggestions
I have 17x54 GTR 35. I do a lot of night running a bow fishing so i decided to get a little better GPS. I bought a lowrance Mark 4 HDI. I dont have a console so I am looking for suggestions on mounting it. Any pictures or suggestions would be helpful.

 Re: GPS Mounting suggestions
Since your one of the few newbie that used the correct forum I will give an option. Check the RAM mounts out. They don't require a big surface to mount and you can move it around.

 Re: GPS Mounting suggestions
You can lock those Ram mounts down pretty dang tight. I think you'll be fine.

 Re: GPS Mounting suggestions
Pushed down for busting through thick shit. It has endless angle possibility. No problem with vibration.

 Re: GPS Mounting suggestions
I dont have catwalks. Would mounting it to the hull directly cause problems?

 Re: GPS Mounting suggestions
I would get a small piece of angle or channel welded so you don't have to drill through the boat.
