Anyone have any of these or anything like it? I'm looking for something that is light, around 10', cheap and preferably used. I don't know anything about these duckers but need a little something to carry into some little water that is nice and stable.

Otter phantom if you don't need to use a motor. Awesome lil layout boat.

Couple of guys down here in Florida hunt the 10' carstens puddler in the Storm water treatment area of the everglades ( no motor area, extremely productive.). They seem to work very well, only problem is I think the shipping is as much as the boat. I would buy whichever is closest to you so you are not paying 500 in freight.

I bought my otter from boats direct and it cost me $100 to get it here. (Shipped it to my business). Boats direct handled everything.

I have a good friend I hunt with that has 2 of the carsten puddlers and they are a nice little boat. I have always used an old fiberglass sit-in kayak. I can paddle a lot faster/further than them and hide just as good but they can get in shallower water than me. I was looking at an aquapod for a while but couldnt pull the trigger while the kayak is still floating.

Pintail Boats makes a 1028 layout that I got all welded aluminum and man I love it.

Thanks guys. I found a used Marsh Rat (plus a few decoys) on Craigslist and picked it up for $450. It was a bit heavier than I thought but I can get it on my rack or in the truck alone no problem. I'm amazed how low profile they are, I might even try shooting some open water divers with it later in the season.
