 Hooks
I ran a MM on my Xpress 14/40 about 10 yrs ago for one duck season and put some descent hooks between the ribs. I was gonna buy a new boat but I am thinking if I can fill these HOOKS in especially in front of the transom to help out my outboard. It has lost quite a bit of speed from what it used to have (yamaha 25 3cyl). What would be the stuff that would stick well to fill them in?

 Re: Hooks
Never tried it but a lot of guys on here use something called SteeleFlex to fill in dents and hooks. It dries hard but does break loose on occassion. It goes on like a putty and you fill in the dents. smooth it out.
If you want a super slick hull, look at GatorGlide. Boat will slide over and through anything.
Good luck.

 Re: Hooks
I used a product called "lab metal" to fill in dents on the bottom of my boat. It dries quick and u can sand it. Then I put gator glide over the top of it. Its been abut 3 years and its holding up fine.
