Started much sooner than expected. Just put my deposit down a week ago.

Sportsman Fab hull
1844 all 1/8 single taper chine z crimp side
2" catwalk
.090 floor with gutters
Extended deck
Built it aluminum gas tank
Trolling motor bracket
Grab bar console with cup holder
Gator tail transom cut down for longtail
Winch mount under front deck coming out front bumper
3" half pipe front bumper
Spud holes in front and back

I think that's it. If I remember anything else I'll add it. Was surprised to go in today and he had it up on the rack already.

That's what I have. I've got it on a 1848. With two kids, 150 each, and myself we were getting 18/19 out of it. I ran it with one kid and got 20 with no problem. I'll tell you what that translates to with a hunt load next month. I'm guessing your boats a little lighter so your speeds should be better. Congrats on the boat.

Whats going on with the cross braces tacked to the bottom?

Post subject:  Re: New build

Yeah I'd call him up and have him grind those horizontal braces out of there before he goes any further.

Yea that horizontal bracing will be causing hooks if you run any kind of stumps or other rough stuff.

Sorry guys. Boats done. Wasn't getting any hits on this thread so I left it alone. Pretty sure Casey knows what he's doing he's been building boats a long time. I'm not taking this one in the woods anyway. I'll just swap my motor around to my skiff when I need to go in the woods. It's bottom is already beat up. Here's the finished product.
