I'm looking at adding a small side console for grab bar, switches and cup holder. I've seen a few on here, but curious as to other options. Ordered my switches for to make a switch panel, all are carling waterproof rocker switches with custom faces to distinguish them. Want to make the grab bar removable. 4 bolts and it comes off or possibly a quick pin to remove it. Also will add a cup holder. On the cup holder, do you guys have holes in the bottom to let the water drain, and if so, do you have switches in it like I want to add. Curious as to the electrical with the water and corrosion. Here is a drawing of what I'm possibly looking at. Grab Bar console.jpg |

We use the cup holder for access and put a drain hose on the bottom. Our new grab bar we went to a bolt instead of a pin with three different positions. |

Yeah I thought about putting a drain on the bottom so the cup holder won't fill up with rain water. |

Make it different. They all look the same. Make it have radius corners or something. If I ever build one I'm going to try to think of something to do a little different. Sent from my beeper |

My grab bar console is built the same way and will be set up pretty close except my switch panel will be closest to me and has a 12v socket on the panel itself and the cup holder is a plastic insert |

Decided to just keep it simple. Switches won't be here till sat, so figured I'd get started. image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg |

Yes but I will mount it coming off the side instead of off the top. Actually off the front vertical part. |
