I built a narrower 17'x42" to run some smaller rivers but am not getting the lift I want in deep water. I have added trim tabs in the past on non-surface drives with great results and saw them on a Breaux boat recently. Whats yalls thoughts on a pair of 6' wide x 2" long trim tabs welded to the transom for some hull lift and the ability to trim up higher when I am running solo without porpusing.
Any pictures of trim tabs or spray rails?

Only thing I can think of it being a problem is if you got stuck in the mud you could not push the boat backwards.
