Post Grizzly transom bracing
Anyone here add extra bracing to the transom of there grizzly or Lowe boat for added reinforcements when installing a SD? Had to take the middle brace off to fit the motor and need some ideas on how to add a little more support just to be on the safe side.

I redid the transom in my Lowe husky jon. I was lucky and the middle brace wasnt in the way though. Is your transom wood or aluminum?

I had a 2000 grizzly that I had to weld and brace the transom. You will need to pull the tops off the back seats on the sides of the boat. Pull out the foam. You will need to brace and weld the seats back to the transom I used L shaped aluminum stock on both sides of the seat "side". I also added another brace from the transom to the brace that runs under the seat. Mine cracked and flexed bad before I fixed it.
