 18x54 gtb porpoises
I have a brand new 18x54 pointed bow gator tail extreme series boat and if I run it over 3400 Rpms it starts porpoising bad. Any advice on what I should do or what's the cause of it.

Try moving the pin on the mounting clamp to a different hole

Check the transome angle. They may of screwed it up, needs to be 20 degrees. I am guessing you have trimmed it all the way down while driving to try to make it stop?

 Re: 18x54 gtb porpoises
Transom angle has nothing to do with boat porposing ...

What hole is your trim pin in?
That's a big ole boat to be proposing at speeds just over 20 mph.

Get a fatter buddy.
Have you run in shallow vs deep water to see if it changes?

 Re: 18x54 gtb porpoises
The new GTRs come with the pin in the second from the top hole and that shouldnt make it porpoise. Try moving the pin down one hole.
