Post Boat blind grass
Gonna start building a boat blind tomorrow, for sure gonna get a burlap nett to go around the frame but trying to figure out the grassing it part. I have 8 or so of the hard core grass mats but several of them are falling apart and their pretty heavy. I may still try to put the whole mats on depending on if enough of them are still in good enough shape to do so.. So if their not, I was thinking about soaking them down with water so their not so brittle and pull them apart and tie clumps of them individually on at a time to the net it's self. Anyone else done it similar to this or does it just sound like a pain in the ass?

U already have the frame built? It takes a minute to get it right with the right stuff, much less using material that is falling apart.

My old boat I individual zip tied wads of natural grass on mine, it's not too bad after a few hunts raising the blind up and down and my dog breaking on the first shot tearing the blind down it wears out, but I just re do it, don't cost anything.

The grass mats were good for the most part, just gonna use em until they fall apart then try something new once its time.It was much easier that I expected it would be. Started the project yesterday afternoon and finished up this afternoon. Conduit was the best idea ever, cheep, light, easy to use, and seems to be pretty sturdy so far.
