 Boat size
Got my mind on a new hull. Really wanting an 18 because I'm wanting an extended front deck. Thinking about having a piece that I could add or remove to maybe the deck longer. Initially leaning toward and 1848 with open floor with small boxes in the back with 6-8" catwalks. 3-16 bottom a must. Would there be much difference between a 1848 & 1854? I want to do this right the first time. No hunt deck, will be running a tiller 36pd. I don't carry large loads. Primarily hunt alone. Haul the fam around in the summer tho playing on the lake. Any input or advice appreciated.

 Boat size
I've had a 1848, 2054, 2060 and now a 1854. I personally think 1854 is the best all around perfect size for year round use with a mud motor
