 Wccustom boats
As of right now I'm torn between wccustomboats and prodigy. I really like prodigy but I'm in Louisiana there in Georgia. I'd kinda prefer to deal with someone closer. Does anyone have a wccustom and how do you like your boat. How did the build process go for you ( communication , updates ect ). I'm not singling out prodigy just looking out my options.

 Re: Wccustom boats
I tried contacting extreme by email and called them. I never got a response back. There out in my book. Iv heard great things about Dfou but id prefer some one I can see pics of there work or a web page to look at . Iv been super impressed with wccustoms. Was deffinatley not impressed with phowler. I told them I wanted an 18/60 they said the can do it but they do 60" in 2 piece welded hull ( welded down the middle of the hull) . I told him I want it one solid piece on the bottome and welded on the sides. He said he will not do that. He is a professional boat builder and he knows what he's talking about. That's he's never had one crack a weld or break. It don't matter that's not what I want. I told him thank you for your time and bye. I'm not trying to be a prick but I'm not settling for something I don't want.

I don't have a WC boat but have seen his work. The ones I have seen looked good and were well built. The owners said they really liked them and had good experiences dealing with him.

 Re: Wccustom boats
They have been around for a long time. They have also been a paying sponsor of this site as long as you have been a member here. Can't believe you haven't seen or noticed the banner at the top. Well doesn't matter. They look like good boats and same with the mad man custom that you like.

 Re: Wccustom boats
FYI. If distance is an issue. Go with UShip. I got my WC shipped for $ 900. (Texas to Miami FL ) total 1250 miles each way, round trip 2,500 miles.
Good luck !

 Re: Wccustom boats
No way !! Your hull flexes . Why would u weld down the middle. That will be the weakest point when it should be your strongest point. I don't have to have a one piece hull. I told phowler I'd prefer the sides welded and the bottom to be one piece. He said no so he lost any chance of me getting a boat from him. But it does not upset me after really looking at there boats there butt ugly ! My point is all the other boat builders had no problem making a three piece hull ( solid bottom welded on sides ) instead of a 2 piece hull ( with a weld down the middle )
