Trying to figure best option to carry a smaller boat with a 5-7hplongshaft on my 19' w a 150hp. Possibly fabricating a removable davit with a winch ect... I hunt solo mostly. Any ideas on what would be a good smaller boat set up w/ a 5-7hp, and how to rig it on my larger boat. Any pics? I use to run an old motorized putt putt but would rather not now. thanks guys |

I assume you're using the term "mothership" loosely here. What kind of area do you hunt? Are you trailering the boat to and from the area for your hunt? My concern is lifting a boat with much size up into a 19 foot boat. It wouldn't take much to make that a real interesting situation. Would it be possible to just tow your hunting boat? If you're dead set on loading it on your other boat then make sure and make it very light. |
