 Crimped chines
Looking to do a custom build and am in need of pre bent chines. No one locally offers anything. Looking for a triple taper style or something similar. Anyone know a good source for these? Someone that ships would be ideal but not required.

 Re: Crimped chines
Peirce aluminum is where I get my material and the have a 20' brake.
Bayou metals also has a 20' brake.
Got word a while ago about someone in Houston that had one also.
You can get Peirce to do everything you need and put it on a freight truck and ship it to you.
Where are you located?

 Re: Crimped chines
Maybe prodigy boats can help you out. There are out of Georgia I believe and I would imagine there is something closer than pierce aluminum

 Re: Crimped chines
I would call a few sheet metal shops and roofing companies to see who has a 20' brake. We have shop with a 33ft brake near Austin. They charge me 2.50 per bend....
It would be cheaper than trying to order pre bent pieces. You can get .125 or .1875 in coil form that will go in a truck bed. just have to have a ladder rack or trailer to haul after it broke.
