Wishfull thinking???  I say go for it....Rebuild time!!  Word is,,,for two years he refused to restructure and help the cap....Not sure on that. If true,,,,i say he is not here to win anymore! If Ingram is not willing to deal, go after Demarco Murray or Adrienne Peteson!!! Rebuild the defense and get some good corners and linebackers for god sake!!! |

Wrong forum but Saints resign Ingram then trade Ingram to The Vikings or Dallas for a draft pic or defensive player. Then offer Murray more then Dallas and sign Murray . That or trade for Peterson . Win win ! One of the 2 will need a running back . |

I would almost be happy to see Bree's walk....If we dont, and he proves to be as greedy as its looking. I would part ways while you can still get something for him.... Lots of teams would pay big for him!!!! |

I honestly the saints should rid of Bree's , Ingram and tank the season and start rebuilding next season with good draft picks . My honost opinion they should of held onto chase Daniels . He Might of surprised us. Bree's mentored the guy. He's another undersized over achiever. Has a high release point like Bree's . |

We are two years too late on the Drew Bree's trade. We could of traded him to Houston a year or two back and gotten a kings ransom. Literally only piece they didn't have was a QB. Loomis has continued to put bandaids on gunshot wounds. Do not even get me started on these back heavy contracts we continue to give. It's like when you were a kid it was better to fess up than to put it off. Now we are left with millions upon millions to trim and a lousy, old and underachieving roster. I think they may have a diamond in the rough with Ryan Griffin. He is good at reading defenses, done well when he played in the preseason. Looks comfortable. And I think he can develop further. But Peyton will never give another QB a chance for playing time no matter if the saints are up or down by 5 touchdowns. Brees has to dead or his arm severed for him to play anyone else. And it leaves it up to getting your main QB hurt or frustrated. And the backups have no real game experience. |

That would have been nice to have him In Houston two years ago but at the time Kub was too high on Matt Schaub's jock strap fumes to consider it. Getting rid of those two clowns is the best thing that had happened to Houston up until them giving Andre Johnson his walking papers.... Bill O is in the business of making a team that is structured properly, not just having his few pets like ol Gary did. I'm curious to see how he's going to work out with Manning in Denver. He was an idiot to leave Baltimore. |

The financially can't trade Brees. They would be charged with the remainder of his guaranteed money this season. I would like to see him take a pay cut but that ain't happening. I feel we may have another average season on our hands due to salary cap issues. It really depends on how many people take cuts. They need more draft picks. Draft picks play for cheap |

You would be accurate. I was just pointing out that they can run the ball with the offense they run. The problem is that one year they run well and the next not so much. This will be my 17 year as a season ticket holder. Last year was my most frustrating season to date. The expectations were high and the talent was too good to perform the way they did. I feel like the Saints underachieved last season |

The saints are ridiculous they should be paying the fans to go to the game. Pay for each year should reflect the performance of the previous year. The NFL is not what it used to be. |

Their performance last year was pathetic, very rarely did they play like they was interested in wining. I agree he has been a great player and he prob still is, its just don't show at the end of the game. I don't think the money they charge to sit in a seat is worth it. |

Drew has been great for us for many years. Most teams have this issue because the way players are paid. Seattle is about to fall down because all of those young draft picks will get paid now. The patriots are the only team that has learned how to manage the salary cap consistently. The Saints back loaded a bunch of contracts and they are now paying the price for it. They put all the eggs in one basket after 2009 and it did not happen. I will be shocked if Brees is a Saint in two years. His age will catch up with him soon. Her contract demands are too high for his age. |
