Wanting to keep it from looking too ghetto

Ya got a inside pic of it?
Just my luck I'd rip the hose into if it's up high on the wall

Side discharge like above is the way to go.

On the port side right in front of the drop deck. I've got twin 1500 gph rules with a jr. System. So I've got two outlets coming out the side of the boat. Pumps so much water I can almost steer with it.

Put two in mine as well. Put a 500 gallon automatic for when I leave the boat in the water and have a 1500 gallon one as well. May seem like overkill but I've been boating a long time. Sooner or later that one time you have it you will be glad it's there. Both come out the side as well. Not wired on the same fuse

Mine goes right out onto the hunt deck and off the back of the boat. No issues at all.

I don't have a hunt deck, but my bilge pumps just discharge over the transom. It saved drilling holes in the hull, eliminated the need for angled fittings that can reduce flow, and I didn't have to make room for riser loops to prevent back flow.
