What is the easiest way to tell if the mb mini 23 that i am looking to buy is a short or tall model |

The short has 6 bolts in the top (clutch) cover on the outdrive, tall has 8. |

thx however the cover on my mini 23 is plastic and held on by a couple of side screws anyone else please |

Lol. I'm selling a 27 HD in the classifieds, go take a gander at the rear picture and see if you can tell from the proportions. I'd measure but I'm 13 hrs away right now. |

will do thx, my boat is a tall trans but the skeg of the mini23 is three or four inches higher than the bottom of my hull. |

I'll admit. If he has a motor on his boat that he's "looking to buy," then I need him to negotiate my "purchase" of a new motor. He's good!! |
