I know a few guys have these things and probably have some time on them by now. I know in the past actually finding them was the challenge.

How are they holding up? Still comfortable? Worth the $$$?

Do they mount to a standard four bolt plate? I have the bases I bought from Cabela's but the seats I got are terrible and I like the look of these, plus, they should weigh a hell of a lot less too!

They're all over the 'net Froggy. I google'd it and came up with plenty of places with them in stock and decent prices. I don't believe millennium sells direct. Ebay and Amazon have them too.

I'll probably end up with 3 of them. Just can't decide on grey or green...

For me, these are as comfortable as it gets.

http://tempress.com/#!/High-Back-All-Weather™-Boat-Seat-Camo-Mossy-Oak-Shadowgrass-Vinyl/p/18864826/category=442158

Mine are on quick-disconnect bases, one of which is mounted to an Engel 35 cooler, and another base on a pyramid base so I can move the seat from one to the other and not have a hole in my cooler top.

I absolutely love my millenium boat seats. Since I have had them 2 of my friends switch out their seats from tempest to the milenium seats.. They don't hold any water which was the big selling point for me

Post subject:  Re: Millennium seat reviews

That's the biggest plus that I can see. It looks like the backs are a bit taller than average too which helps on the ol back after fishing all day.

My main motivation though is not having "boat seat ass" after a drizzle. I don't leave my seats in the boat when it's not in the water though. They come out and in the shed. Whatever I get will last but having them stay dry is a big plus.

TGunn I'd like to see how the seat is mounted to the cooler iv been thinking about doing it to my yeti but it's hard to drill holes before I know it's going to work out.

You buy this kit. Note: It won't work with all seats. It's a Tempress kit. You can use it with either the High Back All Weather or Low Back All Weather, but NOT the Navistyle.

http://tempress.com/#!/Quick-Disconnect ... ory=442174

What goes on top of your cooler lid will look like this piece that comes in the kit:

You just center the base where you want it, and drill through the lid, and use SS hardware. I used a couple of large fender washers and a nylon locknut underneath, you can either use a little bit of 4000 or 4200 or a liberal amount of marine grade silicone. Same on top. Mine is completely waterproof, and Cadillac comfortable. And awesome for tailgates. . .

I also have the same idea as TGunn, except I used the Bass Pro Quick releases. They are quite a bit thicker and actually cheaper! But i love my millenium seat as well. but dont use a seat much. And mine normally sits on a 4 legged stand from Cabelas partially tucked under the hunt deck, but this one time............... it flew out rolled about 30 times and I have one bent spot on my millenium that is all and that was 65 mph too! i still haven't fixed it, but will be easy to bend back out!

Not as low profile looking and give you about a 2" lift. Think I'll like it better with a 1/4 to shim in the front. I'll have to ride to really tell. More upper back support for sure.

Post subject:  Re: Millennium seat reviews

Can you shorten up those bases? The back does look tall but I think that's part of it that Id actually appreciate. The seats that hit you right below the shoulder blades damn near cripple me up after a few hours in them. I do better just standing. I'm mainly wanting seats for the wife and for those real long runs.

I have the flat swivel base now. Its as low as its going to go without fabing. The seat height is 19" now which is where I like it, was 17", so Im good there. I also had to drill holes 1" further back due to the console. I would have gone even further back but there was no more room. I told Corey I was 5'10" he must have thought that meant I didn't have any legs! The lower seat back was comfortable for the first couple hrs but you're right, below the shoulder blades wears on ya. A seat back should have a 7 degree slant to be comfortable (says lazyboy) My airboat does and it is. Ill shim the front and see if that does it. $89 at MPW and $3 shipping.

I have several Millennium loc on stands, and they are the most comfortable stands I have sat in. I would definitely be putting these in my boat if they came in another color besides green or white. Grey or dark Grey would be nice.

Called Precision Archery and they called Millennium today for me. The grey seats are on back order till June/July.

I'm considering just going with the green and not worrying what it fucking matches
