i am new to mud motors and am looking at getting one for primarily frogging in the thick sylvania and thick mud. my plan is getting a 16 hp GDLT that is on a 1448 flatbottom. i feel like in the future i may want to put it on a wider more stable boat. im not worried about speed, just tryin to get through the thick stuff, how big of a boat could that 16 hp longtail run and still be effective in pushing through the mud?
