Riveted boats are a lot tougher than they get credit for around here.

riveted boats are tough - tough to find & fix the leaky rivets as your boat ages, but my 12' alumacraft that I bought new in 1981 has only had 1 leaky rivet, now my other riveted boats didn't fair so well

Getting it fixed up on tuesday my neighbor has a aluminum welder.
