 Gatorglide and round chine??
1844 GD boat running 35 GDSD (I like my carb thank you very much).....
This thing corners like a dream and there isnt anything I would change at all....except I'm thinking of splitting an order with a friend.
Anyone here put GG on a rounded chine GD boat yet? Did you see a marked improvement? Did you notice a change in how it reacts in the water? I love the way it handles and dont want to mess that up
Thanks...

 Re: Gatorglide and round chine??
I have a GTrax 16x50 hunt deck. It has GG. Still turns like a dream. You'll notice it slips through vegetation a lot easier. The GG also makes sliding the boat around easier when setting up a hide. We hunt rivers. So we usually have to push the boat up onto the bank some to hide well.

 Gatorglide and round chine??
Loading and unloading solo become more or less difficult with GG? I could see it wanting to glide, slip, etc off the bunks more easily. Suppose you better have a little slack loop tied at winch or it would go a running down into the bayou. I also have a camp that's about a half mile to launch and often I have to pull boat in and out. As a result of short ride I don't tie down or anything special, that be a no no with this stuff? Sorry if I ninja your thread but surely others got these questions too.

Those concerns can be confirmed with a quick search and sick very of a couple boats off the trailer on the side of the road, or sitting on the boat ramp while the trailer drives away. Tie your boat down good.

 Re: Gatorglide and round chine??
Loading and unloading can be made very easy with or without GG. I have a roller raised about 1.5" above the bunks. When loading I back in until the roller it just under, the stern drops over and backs into it. This allows you to shut down ,get out and hook the bow. When launching you back in a little more and she floats over. Dar it is!
