Decided on getting the new efi gtr37, and I know I want a 18/48-54 size boat. I saw someone mention that fins and feathers made a good boat. I looked them up and they're fairly cheap and I can get it and the motor fully rigged out for around 13,000 where a new gator tail boat and motor with what I want will cost 18,000ish. All before tax of course. But anyways, I haven't seen a lot about the boats so has anyone on here ran one or know of anyone that's personally ran one and whether you like it or not? I'd like the F&F boat since it's cheaper but if I'm gonna be cutting a lot of corners and get a poor product I don't mind spending the extra money for a good boat.

Cheaper is not always better. I would get a lot of good feedback for a lot of folks. I've heard too many horror stories about people getting boats that don't perform. And it takes a lot of money to fix one, if it is fixable.

That's the thing, I haven't heard any feed back at all since they are a newer company. They are a custom builder, and you know how those go. Some are A+ and some not so much. I just didn't want to jump out there and buy one without hearing reviews but apparently no one has one yet to review so I've got a bit of a gamble on my hands.. Either try the custom for cheaper and potentially get a great or horrible boat, or just spend all the money up front for the gator tail boat and never know if the other one would been a better deal. Lol

I think if you go look at it and the measurements add up, it's all square, and welds look good there is nothing to worry about.
