Pete Willet sent me a few pics over the last week or so updating me on my boat. Before anyone says anything I know this boat is not every ones preference and is just something I wanted mainly as a fishing rig. the purpose of this rig is so I can fish deep rough water or still get into the flats if i prefer . I will use the boat time to time for hunting but not very often. the boat is a 20' 72" triple tapered chine with a pointed bow. the boat will be a dual rig with dual 37 EFI GTR's . hydraulic steering with steering assist. like I said I understand this is not what most of yall would have built but this is what I wanted. thank yall |

lol I swear im not getting it to be bigger and better just want a rig I can fish in Calcasieu lake even on really choppy days and not have my butt pucker up and still be able to fish the flats. ill have to ask pete he did say it handled very well and only slid a little on hard turns, but that's expected on that wide of a boat |

Here is a few pics. I gotta add one at a time. the leaning post is not in place. was just giving me a general idea. the leaning post will actually be dropped a little and moved forward a bit. trolling motor mount and gas tank still has to be installed. |

Thanks guys ! not much has really changed on it. Should be going to paint ( old school drake Camo ) this week then rigging. Hopefully paint will turn out decent ! Will definitely take getting used to a rig this size ! |
