Time to see what this Gator Glide stuff is all about! Got the motor pulled off, flipped and Gator base applied. Unfortunately I won't be able to apply the G4 for another 2 weeks due to work and what not. Ready to try it out! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Tapatalk |

Keep the winch cable hooked up until she's in the water. Keep a taught rope wrapped around the winch post so you can unhook the winch without giving yourself a black eye. Double wrap it so you can let her slide down the trailer and I to the water. Good luck! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Yeah, the stuff is super slick. Take it easy when you first get in the shallows, takes half the effort to get it moving. |

I'm considering putting G2 on my jon boat. Would appreciate a before and after comparison report on how it changed your boat's performance (realizing it'll be a few weeks before you can test it out). |

Ended up getting some spare time off, finally got the G4 ROLLED ON. But after I finished and peeled the tape almost all the residue was left from it. I ran out of time to sit there and Jack with it. Anyone have a good idea as to what would take it off? I was thinking use the left over acetone. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Tapatalk |

Try some goo gone or similar citrus remover. The acetone will likely hurt the other paint on the boat. |

The raised roller (about half the roller above the bunk) really solves the load unload thing. ( see pic below) . 3m adhesive remover works best for taking of glue. It's a mixture of xylene and acetone and a conditioner from what I understand. Always best to pull the tape on last coat of base and or GatorGlide. Leaves a much straiter wet edge and is easier to clean up anything that may have wicked underneath. |

I Will try the goo gone and 3m adhesive remover This wknd on it hopefully its not to late. Also that's actually a pretty good idea with the roller above bunkers might be my next project rather than having to tie and untie it every time I launch. As for 13 Pistols it's a 17x54 went 5 inches from the bottom of the boat, one kit (half gallon of GB & half gallon of G4) did 4 coats of GB, and 4 coats of G4 Anchor. Used every last drop too. Sorry for the late feed back, tape residue came off with a little elbow grease and goo gone. The GG on the other hand is awsome had no problem loading my boat back onto trailer with the wench dry. Also noticed I can load it on the trailer w/o the boards in the water. I know for a fact that wouldn't ever had happened before! So far it gets a 5 star from me now to see how long it lasts. Tie it down good before you trailer it anywhere! I know its been said a lot but not enough. A guy just untied his boat at the top of a ramp and off it came. |
