Minus the boats being heavy is there anything bad about these boats? Im in north Missouri hunt big water as much marsh/flood corn. Also fish big water in the summer as much as I hunt in the winter. So I need a big water boat as much as shallow water. Ready to pull the trigger just don't want to have any REGRETS... Also have a dealer 2 hours away which is a plus. Way closer than any other boat dealer etc. HAVOC. Don't have mud flats to just go run like down south, which I feel like that's why weight is a big deal for lot of guys????

They are very nice to fish out of buddy has a 1852 w hunt deck. It's a great boat. Not nessesarily what I would get but 3 man fishing load was 22-23 with stage 1. Stable and a dry ride. Just a little slow not sure how well it tuned so could be leaving some on the table.

Buddy has one and despite all the negative things I have heard online his does very well. We hunt 4 people, decoys, dog and hunting gear and it rolls out just fine. He has a MB with heads carb exhaust.prob runs in the upper 20s. I would have no prob buying one but she slides bad in shallows .

I have one as well. Older model 07. Its got a 5degree V. It run 28-30 with heads, carb and gutted exhaust. I wouldnt go that route again. Not sure if they ran stringer horizontal in that year model or not, but shes heavy, waterlogged and hooked. I must have a freak motor and boat to get the speeds I do, and she does great shallow.

I knew that they had changed hands since the tornado mishap. Cant compare mine to a newer model. Thats some good info there deadbird. I got a hook where I stand by the transom
I also have the .125 but didnt know it was the 5052. Makes sense why I got the hooks I do. Did you ever pull the foam out of your old boat?
