I have a wetsounds stealth 6 on the way. Can I wire this thing to my cranking battery or do I need a second battery? My cranking battery is a dual purpose from BassPro and the motor is a 2015 GTR 37.

I have the stealth 10 on mine. Hasn't ran it dead yet, played for 3-4 hrs straight between cranking. And the 10 has an internal amp in it. You will be fine

It will be used for riding around and mostly bowfishing. Will the GTR charge my battery while idling? It is actually being hung on the transom right now, so I haven't used it at all yet.

Yes, the 37EFI has an alternator.... Be very careful about any additional load placed on the engine's battery though to avoid potential problems with the ECM. Make sure before you ever turn the key that the connections are tight with locking nuts, not wing nuts.

With the nuts that came with the battery or something like a Teflon nut?

If it has wing nuts or regular nuts, replace them with nylock nuts, tighten them with a wrench... Good and snug, not over tight.

Thanks for the tip. Can't wait to pick my boat up this afternoon and go run it.

Got it mounted and hooked up last night. I didn't expect it to be quite that loud, but very impressive. The stealth10 must absolutely scream. I'm interested to see how it sounds at WOT.

You'll definitely be please with the 10 if it is better than the 6.

I'm thinking about putting a 10 in my next rig. Seems like a good unit from what I've heard.

Dang, for the price of that you can get a fine shotgun! On second thought, if anyone sets up too close to your blind just crank that sucker up and play some Barry Manilow and I guarantee the interlopers will scram!

A small Grundig radio is enough for me. I like the sound of boom, boom, splash, splash.

I can barely hear my 6 at wot

That 37gtr is just a loudly operating ending.

Yep same with my 37 pd and the 10. CC wouldn't have a problem hearing it.

Assuming yall mounted under the bow, how is the clearance getting the gas tank out if you have removable tank?

I bought a lawnmower battery solely for mine. Curious to see how long it will last. It's worked very well on my cooler radio with 4-6" speakers.

I have a Bosch PowerBox that I put in the back of my boat to run with the stealth. Hook the PowerBox up to the line out from the stealth and it sounds awesome. The powerbox has 4 mids and a small sub, so it give good depth and sounds amazing, I can hear it while running now.

It set me back $250 total for the radio and the biggest li-ion battery it can take. It's waterproof and can use it for anything. It also has 4- 110v plugs on it in case you need em.
