Post Ez Trac trailers
Does anyone have experience with these trailers? I just got mine out of the shop for the second time. The fenders and steps keep flexing too much and the welds crack. The trailer floats and flexes entirely too much when I'm loading my boat. I probably have an isolated case or expected some rigidity out of a welded trailer.

I've had the same problems. Sold it to a friend for $500 and bought an aluminum I-beam trailer. Warned him about the welds.

Have not had a problem with welds yet but my trailer does float, thought I was losing my mind first time i backed it in to load up boat.it actually floated off ramp and I just picked it up and put back where I needed it.this could really be bad when the wind is blowing.

I can't speak for all trailers but alot of them have pee holes so they take in and drain water to keep from floating.

Pretty sure most of MMT is humusexshuls in hiding

It's not just the easy trac that floats. The diamond city under my neighbors excel does the same thing. It's extremely difficult to load the boat into a wind/current.

Drill burp holes, 3 on each side in each channel up near the front. Be sure you have relief slots in each channel at rear, enter water slowly to fill trailer, problem solved.

I was loading my boat on my ez trac last week on a fairly windy day. Had to come in a little hotter than usual to keep the boat from drifting. when i made contact with my front roller, it broke the roller and winch mount clean off the mounting plate at the weld.

I have heard of this happening as well. Id sure like to sell this trailer I have and either buy or make a more stout trailer.
