I've looked at the quick fist mounts and they look like viable replacements for when my pushpole mounts eventually break.... I'm looking for something to hold two 1" poles (spuds) side by side without them touching/rattling, and mount in a small area. I'm a little limited on mounting options with the way the boxes are in the boat but I have a few ways I can make something work. Just trying to find the right mount. |

check out paddle clips. most are for 1". may not be what you are looking for, just a suggestion. |

I have the smaller quick fist (up to 2 1/2") in my boat and they hold 2 gator trax spuds tight together without any rattle. Takes up less space than 2 single mounts also. |

Academy - Yak Gear molded paddle clips - $10 You can butt the mounts pretty much on top of each other and no issues with them rattling even with the way we put the push pole foot on the end like in the pic ImageUploadedByTapatalk1443307806.013241.jpg Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Another pic of one of Willet's boats with the Yak gear paddle clips. Works great. ! |

That type of mount would be fine if I had a side of the boat with nothing on it. This GoDevil hull has the two boxes on either side right in the middle of the boat. The pushpole is mounted on top of the box and to the transom but the spuds are too short to reach that far and i can't mount them that way because of my bimini anyway. They're going to have to go between the boxes and the front deck somehow. That's the only way they'll fit. The boats almost wide enough to mount them side to side across the back of the boat somewhere, but not quite, it's about 10" short. I'll take a couple pics of what I'm talking about and post them to see if anyone has any other ideas. Those mounts might possibly work but I ideally need something that will hold the poles closer together One quick fist with a 1/4" rubber divider in the middle would be perfect but I don't think they make one. Your boat turned out very nice BTW Migrator. Congrats! Tons of room in that thing. |
