Just curious to see if gator glide is worth doing? Had a friend that did his and didn't hold up real great! I'd appreciate any info on the product! Thanks

I bet he didn't apply it right. I haven't heard of issues with it and I have it on two boats. The surface must be lightly sanded and cleaned with a solvent to remove any oily residue.

people dont like to follow directions and are always in a hurry. sand it with 100 and use a good wax and grease remover and let the shit flash between thin coats like you are supposed to and it will come out just fine.

I've never seen any problems with it. Sand, acetone, and thin coats.

It's not indestructible. Had no problems with it in mud or vegetation. Rocks will scratch it though. It is slick as owl shit and yes it is worth it.
