What's everybody using for their headlight plug? A regular 12v socket type plug would work as far as load but seems like it would have a tendency to get wet. My wires are already ran and there is a hole in the deck. Just need to put a plug-in there. A 2 wire trolling motor plug would work too but I think that would be overkill. I just want something as weatherproof as possible. Ideas? This one would work fine, looking for all black though. http://www.blackbearsportinggoods.com/m ... R&click=12 |

i use the marinco three pin plug that twist locks into place, they are a little expensive, but well worth it in my opinion. |

I use a 2 pin connector, cheap and has held up well to the elements. No issues out of it, very cheap too. https://jet.com/product/detail/d8428311 ... AqSb8P8HAQ Any auto parts store should have it. |

I ended up just getting a plain 12v plug with a mounting flange. It has a rubber cap and I plan on drilling a couple holes in the bottom so if it does happen to get water in it, it'll drain. Best part it's a pretty cheap setup so if it craps out or corrodes real bad, I can replace it for less than $10. My light will have a male 12v end on it that I'll be able to use anywhere. The connector is good for 15a, circuit is fused for 10. |

http://www.marinco.com/en/12vcp This is the one I believe everyone uses. I even put it one on the end of my hand held so it doesn't come loose when I am using it |
