I built the typical fold down scissor style frame onto my boat. How are you guys attaching fast grass and similar? I had the grass pointing down, and the top part of the material wrapped around the frame and zip tied back to itself. I think grass pointing up looks a lot more realistic, but cant decide how to attach it. I weaved 4 matts of fast grass together to make one long piece. I did this twice, one for each side of the boat. I have these rolled up on the floor for transport, and ideally I can come up with a way to quickly hang them on the frame. Not a fan of leaving them on the frame all the time. Drags in the water, takes up more room, and beats the grass to hell. Any suggestions? Haven’t had much luck using search. |

Weave a rope threw the grass and attach the rope to the frame. |

Use a couple tie wraps to make a few big loops on the grass mats and secure them to your blind frame once you're setup with a bungee cord or short piece of rope. Easy on, easy off, then they can be rolled up and stored however you want. |

Use sand blasting tarp as a backing on the fast grass. Then zip tie it or you can do like I did . I used clamps that held up the mats. I in rolled the mat and rolled it each hunt. Took 10 min to set everything up . That way you can store away and preserve your fast grass. In fact were using the same grass this year still looks new. |

I definitely want to have the two sides rolled up. I like the rope idea. It crossed my mine, weaving a rope and using S shaped hooks to hang it. I can't picture the clamp idea. What's the tarp for? |

Just built mine last week due to massive water levels from the floods I used burlap zip tied to the frame and put my fast grass on shower rod hangers and just fold it up or unfold it and hang it on the rail that way if I'm in the swamp I don't have to run the grass it's also zip tied at the ends to make 1 long piece for each side |
