There is a guy in Camden that paints boat. I've only seen a couple of his paint jobs and they look good.

Make sure your expectations are realistic.

Don't know the level of your "not holding up" but it is a hunting and fishing boat.

No paint job is going to stay perfect if you are using the boat

Hate to see you drop a bunch of money only to be where you started

Again, haven't seen your boat so don't know level of what you are talking about.

Just been the new boat/new paint job "wow I scratched" mode before and it is just something you live with if you are using as intended.

Paint is flaking off don't think it was prepped very well I'm very well aware of what a paint job should look like after a season of hunting my paint started coming off before I got to hunting hard

Camo designs by Ricky LLC will be painting all my boats. Sending the boat 800 mile each way to get it fixed by the Builder, Corey at Cottonmouth Custom Boats then over to Ricky for the painting. Worth all the pennies! Ive put the boat through hell and paint still looks new.

Well considering I was trying to work out a boat with them and changed my mind after not hearing from them (not speaking badly about them) I don't think they would be real into painting my boat

Call them if you don't have a bad taste in your mouth with them. You might be surprised. And I don't care for the brown base in the pattern, but I haven't had a duck flare off my boat once, even without covering it and it sitting beside the blind or in the trees, so it's a good pattern (yes, there are other good patterns too, just saying prodigy bottoms surprised me even with it being that dark brown that doesn't really match hardly anywhere I hunt).

My Gator Trax was painted natgear by Stump, it looks great. I only have one bad thing to say and I know it's a duck hunting boat, I bought it to hunt and hunting is not always the gentlest sport out there but my paint is chipping in some of the weirdest of places. I would expect some wear and tear on areas that have a lot of traffic or use on them like decks and stuff, but I have paint chipping on places that never get touched. Before I put it through the works, it looked great, now not so much. Ive got places where the paint has been knocked off in big hunks and there is like a pink layer under neath it, I'm guessing it was a primer. That's just my two cents...
