It will be an easy rig to hide. I do miss the small boat days. Having kids and a dad that like to go, forced an upgrade. Keep us posted on the progress.

Welcome to the marsh madness! I've been trying to convince the missus that I need a second smaller duck boat on occasion, but no luck. Yours looks good so far...I recommend the small 6.5-9 HP BackH20 line of longtail motors, range from 55-90#, not sure how much that hull can handle. I also recommend some steelflex/gatorglide on the bottom. Don't forget running lights and flagpole for running in the marsh. An auto bilge is a good idea for our deluges. I'm sure you know you can get by with dozen decoys. Not sure of the gauge of that hull, transom might need brace for motor mount. I also recommend hydroturf over decking and floor, save money and get closeout sheets. Best of luck, thanks for pics, keep 'em coming!

thank you for the info Iam putting in the lights and got a flag pole holder in the back its a thin hull and the transom has some braceing iam run a 6.5 like you said I was thinkin about the gator glide for the bottoem but my boss has done it in the past and I might do it too this one since the ribs are on the outside iam weld a thin plate over the ribs fill with special foam in the voids and rivet star board too the bottom this should reinforce the outer hull and make the floor not flex so much he did it too an airboat and another mud boat says nothing would stick too it
