So I was on the phone with a fella the other day who told me that during the welding process that the metal could have been stretched causing a pocket that will in turn act as a suction cup and drag the boat down. I know I can test it with the string method and find out if there is a pocket it needs to be fixed. So how is it corrected

Guess I missed the first thread about this or do you always start half way though a conversation.

Panel beater. Get them hammers out and shrink up that metal.

I could have worded it differently so to say during the welding process the metal on a hull can be stretched creating a pocket that will act like a suction cup and pull the bow down. I've been having performance issues with my boat I know what is happening I just am trying to figure out why...and fix it
