Foam floor vs. Faulty gas tank valve =
So, if you recall i installed that nice camo "sears foam" i got from IL a year back. I loved it. Keeps cool on warm days, provided traction in winter....
I filled a 6gal tank before i left on ex. Returned 2 weeks later and opened the garage and smelled a strong odour of gas.
Looked in my boat and my floor was completely bubbled up and destroyed.
Took a few minutes to pull it all off.
All 6gal of gas was in my boat. Yay.

Seems like if you can catch it soon it enough it doesn't do much damage. The way my tank sits up in the bow, if the tank is overfilled it will drain out. Caught it when I got to the ramp and washed it out with water. No observable damage. Buddy's boat did the same thing as yours when the gas got into it. Was on it for about a week the best he could guess. Imagine the gas dissolves the glue for the turf??
