 Gator glideHas anyone applied gator glide to the wooden bunks of the trailer. And if so what do you think about it.

Re: Gator glide I applied gatorglide to my plastic bunk covers. I didn't prep it well and it didn't last long. They were slick while it lasted. I will most likely remove the covers and gatorglide the wood. I believe Frog (the owner of gatorglide) has his wood bunks covered in gatorglide.

Re: Gator glide I put it on my bunks about 5 months ago. It's held up well and makes loading and unloading the boat really easy.

Re: Gator glide Tad Perkins was the first to do it. Now there probably close to 100 guys including me that have done it. I've seen some of the plastic covers wear the aluminum. Took mine off my new trailer before the boat ever went on.
