Post Post pics of reg leg camo job
Looking at camoing my boat this off season, I'm thinking about keeping the base color O.D green. was looking for some pics and tips. I was going to shoot it with a spray gun but heard it gums up the stencil.... Thanks guy

Any stencil with block up with sustained paint application.
Just carry a claening rag to wipe it off otherwise it gets onto the backing and smears up the base.

Not quite how I thought it would turnout, but it should do. Used Krylon sand with the brown over top. I have some Styx River fall brown color on the way. I think it needs the extra golden brown (for my hunting areas). What do y'all think?

I personally do not like the stencils as they are a little flimsy, but this was painted with the Duck Grass HD5 stencils just didn't follow their instructions on colors and didn't use the cat tails

Yeah the RL stencils are pretty much donezo after this project. I cleaned them with mineral spirits at multiple intervals and then chipped off the paint when possible. The small transitions in the 2nd stencil were breaking apart and starting to roll. Finally sprayed my final coat of clear and put some new ID stickers on...I like it a lot better with the Styx Fall Brown layer.

that's my red leg paint job. I didn't use the colors they recommended. If I remember right it's sage green, od green and black all in satin

That sage green more of a tan color than green? I like that color combo!
