Does anyone know which boat would weigh more? A 1754 gatortrail extreme or a 1848 uncle j with 3/16 bottom? Both boats are open layout

 Re: Boat weight
The Uncle J will be built stout, I know first hand. Not real familiar with the GT boats. Personally, I believe if the heavier boat only robs a few MPH but adds increased durability the trade off is well worth it.
My Uncle J is a 16.5 x 48. Just did a quick estimate using 2.71lbs sq. foot for 3/16, and I came up with around 560 pounds. The 18 wouldn't weight too much more than that.
