Here is mine on a 16tf boat. I would encourage you to build it, but you may end modifying it after the first season after you see how well it performs.

Built mine using 3/4" EMT. Easy to take off when season is over. Pics to follow

Blind is going on 3rd year now. I used camo burlap as the base, and attached a lot of raffia grass using small zip ties. The grass adds a little protection from the wind and rain as well.

Trying to decide on Burlap or camo netting. Burlap won in the end

Did you just put burlap on or did you add some sort of netting to attach grasses and other vegetation? I am trying to decide which route I want to go with mine. I am thinking about getting some army surplus camo netting but burlap is always an option and I imagine it will be much cheaper.

I used straight burlap, and attached raffia grass with zipties through the burlap. It's going on it's 4th season this comming year. Suffered through being left outside durng the hunting season, 60-70 MPH being towed, and 3 full seasons of duck hunting.
It's a 15' boat, but I used 4 (12') panels to cover the entire boat with overlap. So far, zero issues.

Here's my blind. I used 3/4" conduit and attached it to the boat with some c-clamps. Built it like a scissor blind but added another section to the top to provide over head cover. Covered it all with burlap, then attached grass mats to it. Once I get where I'm hunting I add natural vegetation to it to match. Works pretty good and didn't cost an arm and a leg.
