What's everyone's opinion on a 2060 tdx vs a 2060 sbx both with dual 37's. There's about a 400lb weight difference

Do your research.

The Prodrive SBX has a fully welded floor that will not allow the boat to sink if filled with water.
It also has 2 drain hole in the back of the boat, above the water line, to drain any water that does get in the boat.
With dual motors, I would personally get the SBX.
OR, see if you can get the TDX and make it a SBX.

I have a 24x60 SBX with duals. The self bailing hull is absolutely awesome, and there is plenty of power to push it. Never have to worry about water in the boat. I would strongly suggest the SBX.

Never thought about adding a timber deck step to a SBX. Will the extra 400lbs rob a lot of speed

I'd just about bet if someone was willing to pay for it, PD would weld the floor in a TDX boat, and cut the drains. That's about the only difference right?

Saw one on LAS that I thought about buying...just for the two motors and trailer. Heck of a deal.

You will be presently surprised how much a dual rig can handle. Weight it down and it won't skip a beat. If it's pushing my heavy ass rig 33 bunping 34 yours won't notice that little 400lbs
