I've had good luck with the parker duck boat paints.

I use the Kem-400 from Sherwin Williams industiral coatings. Use there industrial wash primer for aluminum applications.

I use to use Duralux, and it's really good paint, but I find the Kem-400 is a lot easier to spray. It really goes on well, holds up great amd gives you a lot more options on color and finish type over Duralux

I used that KEM-400 with the primer that they sell on Redleg camo. It is incredibly tough paint, and that primer is ridiculous, if I scratch the paint, 9 times out of 10 it doesn't make it through the primer. I will say that the primer sprays really weird. It was very watery and translucent but it seemed to work great.

I've always used Nason machinery paint. It's expensive but it's great paint.

Used kem-400 on the last boat I built and it didn't hold up very well.
