 Can 2024 be used?

Post Can 2024 be used?
Local guy is selling a 4x11 2024 sheet for $100, but not sure if that is a good grade to use on a boat. Can anyone advise? I would just use it for decking and do not plan to weld on it.

PS - it is the "poor" corrosion resistance that concerns me.
