I need some help, and I know that some of you guys will give some good advice. I need two pirogues that are exactly the same. We need them for doing a fun race thing. So I have no problem with buying new, but they must last. What size would you get and who would you get them from? I would like a fiberglass, something light. Not even sure how much money I can spend yet. It is for a non profit organization, so if anyone makes them and wants to do a good deed, we could use the help.

I have a 12ft critter getter, real nice pirogue. I think it ran about $450. Bought it from the guy who makes it instead of buying from a seller, he lived just north of Alexandria LA

I have 2 pirogues ones a 12ft flat transom critter getter and the other is a 14 ft Ron Chapman. I like both but In my opinion the critter getter is built better and will probably last longer. I also purchased my critter getter from them directly instead of a dealer.

anybody got opinions on double bow or transom models says Ronbow

I don't notice much difference in the 2 I have one of each If ya ever plan on putting a TM on it get one with a transom
