found one these motors online ans was wondering if anyone has any experience with them or know if they are any good or not

is it the brackets that arent worth it? i cant afford a new one of the other brands and this one is 2400 with a 35hp vanguard with 10hrs on

For that, I'd say go for it as long as you can confirm the Briggs is in good shape, and runs. Start saving so you can replace the frame as soon as you decide you want to, or fix things if needed.

Just keep a close eye on the frame and bearings, check welds and make sure everything is tight before taking it out
