16 to 18 long by 6 deep. Build the floor platform and drive your 4x4 posts in the mud. Set your floor platform up and start setting walls at whatever height you want. You can build step ups to assist with shooting out the back if the brush gets too high

OK got a blind built but haven't put it out yet, because I can't figure out what to put around the 4x4 legs to keep beavers from eating them? Any suggestions?

Tin roofing, metal sheets from tractor supply (the hobby stuff) bent or cut to screw on, stun guns on motion sensor and motorized mounts that auto aim and fire....lol

Cedar brush as a base or pine. We had beavers get after our blind last year. All they wanted was the willows we brushed it with. They didn't touch the cedar and pine we used....or the 4x4 posts for that matter.

I'm from the land of pines so that's what the beavers are after here that an oaks cause that's all there is and they are everything off of my last blind including legs

Gotcha, maybe wrap some chicken wire or something around the posts?
